Matching Easter Dresses

 

I hope you enjoy this post about matching Easter dresses I made for my daughter and I. The beautiful ribbed stretch knit came from Hobby Lobby. Ribbed knit sews up nice and easy. I used a contrasting color for details.

The bodice of my dress has a cute, oversized bow.

I did end up stabilizing my straps with interfacing so they wouldn’t stretch out. 

Rose’s dress fits beautifully and is loose for growth. Her size is currently 2T but I usually cut a 3T for extra room.

I love the green raglan sleeve. The charming lower sleeve makes the dress look very old fashioned.

Her bonnet was the last thing I made and my favorite part of the ensemble.
